Unleash Your Inner Athlete – Roger’s Story

What’s up everyone – it’s Coach Byron from Bluprint Fitness in West Town Chicago and I’m excited to tell you a story about how Roger is getting fit and unleashing his inner athlete with the rest of the BluCru. 

Roger is no stranger to health & fitness, but his health & fitness journey, like most of ours starting out, was missing some key components to take him to the next level..

Before joining, in the words of Roger himself, he was skipping leg day.

But Roger, with some coaxing from his other half, decided to make a change and join a community that would hold him accountable to become a well rounded athlete and started his Bluprint Fitness journey in March of 2023.

Roger now boasts a 310 lbs deadlift and a 235 lbs 3RM back squat. More importantly he’s building long-lasting habits inside and outside the gym that keep him strong physically and mentally.

But as Roger will tell you, these results didn’t come from a magic pill.

These results came from sticking to the plan, being consistent, and continuing to fine tune his habits on a daily basis.

I asked Roger to take us to the moment he knew his new routine was working and he had this to say:

“When I ran a 10k with very little traditional cardio training, I realized that the strength training and conditioning workouts were sufficient in preparing me for that race.”

I also asked Roger what she would say to someone considering joining and she said this:

“If you really want to unleash the athlete in you then you should consider joining the Bluprint Fitness.”
