Barbell Clinic: Saturday, June 9th
This is an in-house Olympic Lifting Clinic to learn more about how-to Snatch and Clean & Jerk. This 4-hour session is an interactive clinic with both lecture and hands-on learning opportunities. We cannot stress enough the importance of learning how to move the barbell in a safe and effective way. This knowledge will set you up for success from a strength standpoint and in your everyday metcons. Space is limited – check out the details HERE.
The next Bluprint Barbell Club cycle starts on Tuesday, June 11th. We’re limiting the club to 12 dedicated athletes on a first come first serve basis who want to 1) learn how to move the bar better and 2) get stronger. Barbell Club classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm with the focus on the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. There is a sign-up board at the gym and you can see all about getting started HERE. Note – all Barbell Club participants must attend the Olympic Lifting Clinic – let’s do this!

Savage Race: Saturday, July 28th
The Savage Race is coming up and we are jumping in on Saturday, July 28th! The race is a 5-7 mile course with 25 of the coolest obstacles in the industry. “It’s more than just a race. It’s about setting personal goals and smashing them. It’s about pushing your limits to defeat the world’s best obstacles. It’s about teamwork and friendship. It’s about the amazing people you will meet on the course. It’s about the mud, the fires, and the Facebook pics. It’s about creating the memory of a lifetime.” Check out more about the event HERE.
There is no substitute for concentrated work. And that’s exactly what you get with skill sessions. 1) You pick the skill, 2) a Coach makes the plan and shows you how to complete it, and 3) then you consistently complete your skill homework. This 3-step process are THE most efficient way for you to reach your movement goals. Ask a coach how you can get started!
Current Bluprint Athletes: I want to challenge you to participate in at least 1 of the above events. Training with a purpose yields the best results.
Future Bluprint Athletes: Find something to train for and you will enjoy the fruits of your labor. Whether that’s in the form of crushing your performance goals or fitting into the bathing suit this summer!
Here’s to continuous improvement!
