Yes, your workouts may be less frequent, but there are some simple things you can do on your vacations/work travel to keep you on course towards your goals.
Below are 5 travel workouts that require minimal equipment and minimal time.
Try these out next time you are out of town!
Note: Each of these should be preceded with a warm-up (5-1o Minute Jog/Bike/Row/etc.)
1. Hotel Calorie Burn
Equipment Needed: Treadmill/Bike/Cardio Machine
Complete 1-2 Rounds Depending on Time.
50 Calories on Treadmill
20 Jumping Jacks
40 Calories on Treadmill
20 Air Squats
30 Calories on Treadmill
20 Push-Ups

2. Express Murph
Equipment Needed: Treadmill/Outside Running Route, Pair of Dumbbells
Complete 1 Round For Time.
800m Run
5 Rounds of:
5 DB Bent-Over Rows (15+/25+)
10 Push-Ups
15 Air Squats

3. Burpee/Bike Ladder
Equipment Needed: Bike/Cardio Marchine
Complete 1-2 Rounds Depending on Time
Note: These movements can be substituted to suit your workout mood.
Burpees 1-10 Reps (increase by 1 rep each set 1,2,3…10)
Bike ¼ Mile Between Burpee Sets
4. Bodyweight Blast (AMRAP)
Equipment Needed: Your Body
Complete as many rounds/reps as possible in 15-Minutes.

10 SL Wall Reaches (each side)
15 Squat Thrust
20 Speed Skaters (each side)
25 Jumping Jacks

5. Death by Burpee
Equipment Needed: Your Body
Complete as many rounds as possible as long as goal is met. When you cannot complete the prescribed # of burpees within the minute, rest 3 Minutes, then repeat (starting at the beginning).
