What was the problem you were having before you discovered Bluprint?

I was skipping leg day.

When I ran a 10k with very little cardio training, I realized that the strength training and AMRAPs were very sufficient in preparing for the race.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

Tapping into and building my lower body strength. Deadlifting 310 lbs.

What is your favorite thing to do at Bluprint?

Too many to name. Looking forward to the Back Squat cycle. Hoping to test some new PRs in the new year. I have also started to like Power Clean and Jerks as it is a very thorough full body movement.

The complete full body workouts and noticeable strength gains.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

If you really want to unleash the athlete in you then you should consider joining the BluCru.

Exercise, travel, cook, and spending time with my daughter.

What’s your favorite food?

It depends on the day. Lately salmon veggie bowls with quinoa and hummus.

Coach’s Comments

Roger has claimed AOTM for the month of November! Before joining Bluprint, Roger was already a fitness lover looking to take his fitness to the next level. Since joining the gym in March 2023, he’s been committed to grinding with the BluCru and his hard work has paid off in the form of results. He is an avid member of the committed club and a fan of TGUs (yes you heard that right). Additionally, he has racked up some solid barbell numbers: 300# on his Sumo DL, 245# Floor Press, 245# Back Squat, 195# 3RM Front Squat, and 130# 3RM Strict Press. His form has improved significantly since joining the gym, takes coaching like a champ, and he always brings the positive vibes with him to class – cheering on his fellow athletes. Lastly, Roger is an excellent example and role model for his daughter Maddie. When you see him in the gym – make sure to congratulate him on all his hard work and dedication!
