How long have you been part of the BluCru?
I started in June 2016 – 6 months!
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
Definitely deadlifting 235#. I keep surprising myself when lifting and it’s a cool feeling to feel strong!
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
The fact that this is probably the only place I have been consistent with as an adult. The coaches are constantly challenging you as well as encouraging you to be the best you can be.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
Work out? Haha, but for real. I have fun while working out here. I do enjoy learning new skills. I’m not fully there yet, but I NEVER thought I could even think about climbing the rope… and here, it’s possible! I also don’t hate doing burpees anymore, who am I?
What would you tell someone considering joining?
You have to do it! I don’t know how to stress enough how great this place is. The coaches (and Bacon) are the main reason I joined to begin with. Walking into a gym and feeling welcomed when you know absolutely no one – it’s a beautiful feeling. The coaches really do make each and every person feel comfortable, bc you can tell they truly care. Growing up playing organized sports and stopping once I hit college, I haven’t felt that comradery in any other workout environment, like I do here.
What do you do for fun?
I bike and eat. I like to bike throughout the city and try new spots for good food. Recommendations welcome J
Ever since Whitney started at Bluprint, she’s been a blast to watch consistently work hard and succeed! She’s made her mark by climbing rapidly up the strength ladder in some major lifts: Deadlift 235#, Front Squat 155#, Strict Press 85#, and Overhead Squat 80#. Her consistency at Bluprint is paying off and with the changes she is making outside the gym we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her over this next year! When you see Whitney around, make sure to congratulate her! On another note, she’s a pretty good hairstylist as well! #GirlStrong
