How long have you been part of the BluCru?
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
My biggest accomplishment is hitting and exceeding all of the small goals we set on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. Whether it’s a PR for a specific lift, hitting a body fat % goal for a month, or beating your gym buddy in a workout, they all amount to achieving the ultimate accomplishment of having the HEALTH & FITNESS mentality.
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
The coaches and members are the reason I get excited for class every day. You could have the worst day at work (everyday J) and all of it is erased when you step into the gym. Everyone is there trying to achieve a common goal – healthy living. I’m a firm believer of finding mentors in life to aide you in wealth, health, happiness, and faith (you must balance all four to be truly satisfied). I consider Byron, Janelle, and all the coaches at Bluprint to be some of my most influential mentors, aiding my successes inside and outside of the gym.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
Lift heavy *** weight, Duh!!! Warm-up with Bacon. Beat Janelle, Pat, and Scotty in the CrossFit workouts. I recently joined the BARBELL CLUB… soooo much fun.
What would you tell someone considering joining?
SADDLE UP PARTNER!!!!……. The Community at Bluprint is what makes our gym so great. When you get a group of cool people together voluntarily to better themselves and the people around them……… what an amazing place to be. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, thus I spend a lot of time in the gym. Everyone is so inviting and welcoming to the new members. Also, Byron and Janelle are some of the most caring and genuine people I’ve met. They work their butts off day in and day out to make all of us faster, stronger, and happier. Their programming is spot on for sustainable and injury free GAINZ!!!! They live and breathe health, fitness, mobility, and nutrition. I’m proud to call them great friends.
What do you do for fun?
TRAVEL, I live for the experiences. Bike. Camp. Hike. Outdoors. Fitness. Read. I’m a jack of all trades and master or none – I try to pick up a new hobby every winter. Last winter was leather working. This winter is bike restoration
If you’ve ever been around Tyler, you already know what a positive attitude he keeps and preaches to fellow athletes. He couples this positive attitude with some old fashioned hard work (attending an average of 5 classes/week and adding in mobility days on the reg). This has created some awesome results in the form of earned GAINZ – back squats, clean & jerks, snatches, and many other aspects of his fitness have continues to improve. Tyler embodies what Bluprint Fitness is all about and we are lucky to have him in the family.
