Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Since September 2021

What was the problem you were having before you discovered Bluprint?

The thing that interested me in CrossFit was the emphasis on intensity. Which is something that I always lacked in the weight room. Another issue I had, before joining Bluprint, was finding exercises that worked with my shoulder issues. I wouldn’t do enough to warm up and I’d almost always leave with joint pain.

Take us to the moment you realized what you were now doing was working.

The phrase of “Trust the Process” is exactly what happened. It took a lot of classes of just doing body weight or just the barbell. The moment I realized that the process was working; was when I was able to check the Rx button on a workout. Then, a week later I was able to do it again. Now, I am consistently checking that button and it feels great! Oh, and being able to do a push up without intense shoulder pain is fantastic, as well.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

By far accomplishing the Murph. I think I’ve done 10 pull ups in the last 5 years combined. I never thought I’d be able to do 100 in under an hour, along with 2 miles, 200 push-ups and 300 squats.

What is your favorite thing to do at Bluprint?

Monday night workouts. They are so tough to get to. But, once you do, you feel so good about yourself and you set a high bar for the week.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint?

The coaches and culture are second to none. But, something that gets me excited everyday are the workouts. They are always so different and challenging. I love checking Wodify each night to see what tomorrow’s workout will be.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

Trust. The. Process. The coaches are so good at what they do and if you listen to them, you’ll be hitting milestones/PRs in no time.

What do you do for fun?

Golf, Hockey, and activities with my German Shepherd, Hugo!

What’s your favorite food?

Can’t beat homemade pasta
