1. How long have you been part of the BluCru?
November 2015 so a little under a year.
2. What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
Taking part in and finishing not one but two obstacle races. Had it not been for the BluCru I probably would have never attempted an obstacle race. My time at BluCru has mentally and physically empowered me and helped me to grow as a person.
3. What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
The coaching staff! I have been fortunate enough to experience a few different Crossfit gyms and I can honestly say that Coach Byron, Coach Janelle, Coach Pat, Coach Taylor, the coaches we had previously: Coach Ankit, Coach Amber, and now our newest Coach, Coach Selby are all amazing coaches. I absolutely love how much attention to detail and the fine-tuning of lifts and movements is given to every athlete in the gym because that is what leads to minimizing injury and maximizing GAINZ.
4. What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
Mingling with everyone and having unexpected and random conversations with the amazing people that workout here!
5. What would you tell someone considering joining?
Best decision they could make! Put your self out there because you will have all of the support you need to assist you in achieving your physical fitness goals.
6. What do you do for fun?
Snowboarding, Call of Duty and X-fit
7. Coach’s Comments
Saqib had a monster July! He jumped into two obstacle races (Spartan & Savage) and crushed them. He also completed his first Barbell Club Cycle – boasting a 20 lb PR in his OHS and 10 lb PRs in his Clean, Snatch, and Strict Press. Accompanying his hard work in the gym is a positive attitude that is contagious to everyone he encounters. When you see him around, make sure to congratulate Saqib on working his ass off!
