How long have you been part of the BluCru?
I’ve been with Bluprint since they opened in 2014. I started working out at the previous incarnation of Bluprint in May of 2011.
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
I’m pretty pleased with running a 6:03 mile in 2015. I hope I can beat that this year.
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
I really, really like the programming – it’s smart, hard, and deliberate, with an emphasis on improving over the long term. I love having the rowing option with great rowing coaches. And I love the people – going to Bluprint feels like stopping by your neighborhood bar, except that you bond over the workouts instead of over a beer.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
What would you tell someone considering joining?
It’s worth every penny. You’ll get really strong, and you’ll make a bunch of new friends.
What do you do for fun?
After getting into indoor rowing via Crossfit, I joined an actual rowing team that rows on the Chicago River. That takes up most of the time that I don’t spend at Bluprint.
