Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

I joined the BluCru in January of 2023.

What was the problem you were having before you discovered Bluprint?

I spent most of my life participating in team sports. Because of this I’ve always struggled to maintain consistency when working out individually.

Take us to the moment you realized what you were now doing was working.

The moment I realized that what I was doing was working is when I started to plan my days around getting to the gym. I’ve found myself needing to remember to take rest days.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

My biggest accomplishment is committing to showing up to the gym. I’ve been able to do 10+ classes each month since joining.

What is your favorite thing to do at Bluprint?

I really enjoy working on new movements and improving my form.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint?

I keep coming back because of the encouragement I receive from the coaches and community, that make me believe that I can get better every day.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

CrossFit and weightlifting can be intimidating to begin, but the coaching at Bluprint make getting started easily accessible, no matter what your initial skill level is. Additionally, the community at Bluprint is extremely welcoming and encouraging.

What do you do for fun?

Outside of the gym I’m a big nerd. I spend most of my free time playing video games or reading. Otherwise, I enjoy traveling and playing intramural sports.

What’s your favorite food?

Chicken wild rice soup

Coach’s Comments

Since joining Bluprint in January, he has been putting in work.

As a solid member of the Committed Club, Joe has earned himself 12 pounds of lean mass, is committed to improving his barbell and gymnastics with extra time spent in open gym. He finished up the back squat cycle with 2 reps at 285#, the power clean cycle at 215#, earned substantial progress on his kipping pull-ups, and countless other GAINZ.

And his engine speaks for itself with a steady strong grind in workouts! We are excited to watch his continued progress. When you see Joe in the gym – make sure to congratulate him on all his hard work and dedication.
