Dan “GOAT” Reynolds – October 2019

Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru (Month/Year/Duration)?

I like to think I am a founding member of Bluprint since I have been coming to the gym since Byron and Janelle started in 2014.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

I think my biggest accomplishment was getting muscle ups, hand stand walks and double-unders. The movements did not come easily but with a good amount of practice and some helpful tips from the coaches I was able to pick it up.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?

I keep coming back due in large part to the positive vibe, members and coaches. Bluprint is really part of my daily routine and when I miss a day something feels off and I feel the need to get back on track.

What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?

My favorite thing to do is “For Time” workouts which include a running and gymnastics component.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

I would tell someone considering joining to give it a shot because working out can be fun when you never do the same thing twice. The programing is constantly varied and keeps things interesting. I have attended more than 1000 classes and still look forward to what each days workout will bring.

What do you do for fun?

In the summer I like to play golf and in the winter I like to ski and snowboard out west.

What’s your favorite food?

Tacos – Casa Indigo in Pilsen and Big Star in Wicker Park are two of my favorites

Coach’s Comments

Dan, otherwise known to the 6am Squad as “The Goat” is a founding member of Bluprint. He was also the first athlete to hit the 1000 Class Club this past month! His consistency and dedication shows in all aspects of his fitness development (cardio, skill, and strength)! You could find him crushing a running workout, walking on his hands, or swinging from the rings. We are lucky that Dan has chosen Bluprint as his gym home and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes in his next 1000 classes. When you see him around make sure to congratulate him on all this hard work!
