Brian Robertson – April 2019

Biography

How long have you been part of the BluCru?

I started/joined up in the middle of February of 2019. So I’ve been a member just under 90 days now.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

So far my biggest accomplishment hasn’t happened at Bluprint but has been a result of working out and that’s an overall healthier lifestyle. I wanted to get better at the workouts. I saw something that I could achieve and improve on by making small adjustments to my personal lifestyle. I can run more, do more burpees, row/ride or ski faster than I did last week and so on so I take the little victories. Overall, I just want to get better and better at this because it’s possible through persistence, determination, and patience.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?

It’s fun, I think? What keeps me coming back is the overall vibe. Everyone is nice and encouraging regardless of their skill level compared to yours. I’m starting to see physical changes and being able to accomplish more in my professional life because my body and mind feel more in tune.

What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?

Weights. I’m not sure what I truly want to accomplish at BP yet but feeling like I’m strong and capable is always a good thing.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

I have already told a few people. I tell them, its fun. It’s inviting. I’ve never joined a gym before so I have no comparison but as a complete noob, people have been beyond welcoming both staff and people attending. The encouragement from EVERYONE is infectious. Be your best self.

What do you do for fun?

Music is my life outside of everything else. I will always want to listen to and discuss it with anyone, especially outside (weather permitting) with a good beer.

What’s your favorite food?

Wings are my kryptonite. I ALWAYS want them.

Coach’s Comments

Brian is a blast to have in the gym and we are privileged he chose Bluprint to embark on his health & fitness journey. Aside from committing to 3+days of fitness each week, he has also become a weekly “meal prep machine”! We are always excited to see what he has planned from week to week on his Instagram post (see below). At the DL & Donuts event; he walked away with a stout 275# Sumo DL PR. With this level of dedication, his results will be fun to watch! Make sure to congratulate Brian when you see him in the gym.
