1. How long have you been part of the BluCru?
I joined Bluprint in November 2015.
2. What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
For me, it’s improving my overall mobility. It’s my biggest area of struggle, even more so following arthroscopic knee surgery in May. I still have a long way to go in this area but I have seen improvement thanks to the attention paid by all of the coaches at Bluprint.
3. What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
It’s everything – the programming, the coaches, and my fellow athletes. I love being part of the Bluprint community. Everyone is so supportive and motivational.
4. What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
I really enjoy the longer, grinder workouts. Admittedly, there’s a little trepidation when I first see one listed on Wodify. But, it’s nice to just settle into a long workout, focus on the tasks, and grind it out. When it’s over, you feel like you really accomplished something.
5. What would you tell someone considering joining?
Bluprint is amazing. It’s a wonderful community. The coaches are motivational and inspirational. The programming is excellent and adapted to anyone’s level of fitness. The athletes are friendly and always supportive.
6. What do you do for fun?
Other than fitness, my other passion is traveling. I’ve been fortunate to visit so many amazing places in the world – many countries in Europe, China, Africa (twice), Thailand, Argentina, Myanmar, and Indonesia. I’m heading to Australia this fall.
7. Coach’s Comments
Consistency is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about Matt’s gym work! Matt is working relentlessly towards getting better in the gym and it’s showing in his performance. It’s not easy rehabbing an injury and doing what’s needed to get back to where you were pre-surgery; but Matt has done that and more. Accompanying his work ethic is his positive and friendly attitude that’s what makes the BluCru so special. When you see Matt in the gym, make sure to congratulate him on all his hard work!
