How long have you been part of the BluCru?
I joined in July 2016.
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
I would say learning how to be confident in myself and not compare myself to others. There are so many incredible athletes at BluPrint and when I first started I often compared myself to them. I even avoided some classes because I didn’t want to “compete” against certain athletes. Now, I am in a place where I focus on my own #gainz and accomplishing goals that make sense for me.
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
There is so much that keeps me coming back! I love my coaches that push me to do things I didn’t think I could do, but they know I can. I love going to a place where the other clients are fun to be around and work out with. It’s such a motivating environment to be in. Lastly, I love the programming. I’ve been going for a year and there hasn’t been a workout that I have done twice. Every workout pushes and challenges you. No matter how much stress I am under, when I enter BluPrint Fitness and start class, all that stress melts (well, I’d say rather sweats) away.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
Surprisingly my favorite thing to go to are the classes on Thursday that have various Metcon workouts. I know when I go to class on Thursday, I will leave a sweat angel on the floor! You get a lot of cardio but still get to work on your strength based on what the workout entails.
What would you tell someone considering joining?
I would tell them it’s okay to be afraid, but not to let that fear stop them from trying things out. BluPrint meets you where you are and works with you to get you to higher heights. You can scale a workout to what is doable for you and the coaches are always there for you when you are not certain about something. The environment is incredibly motivating and before you know it going to work out will be something you want to do, rather than feel like a chore on your to do list.
What do you do for fun?
I love trying new restaurants around the city, outdoor activities when it’s warm, and trying new recipes at home. A lot of my fun has food somewhere in the theme.
Leigha has been on an upward course to success ever since joining Bluprint Fitness. If it’s a challenge, Leigha is all for putting in the hard work to getting it done. Whether it’s getting involved with specialty classes (Barbell Club/Skills n Liftz), taking control of her nutrition (dropping 2.98% body fat), or jumping into outside events (Spartan 2016 & 2017); Leigha is constantly challenging herself to be better.
