How long have you been part of the BluCru?
I joined in August 2017!
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
Crossfit – improving my gymnastics skills (handstand walks, handstand pushups, muscle up progressions and pull ups)
Nutrition – With the help of Coach J & the Holigainz Challenge I’ve really dialed in my macros and feel a lot better!
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
The mental and physical strength I have developed and the friendships and connections with people I have made.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
I love big Saturday group classes (partner WODs), learning new skills and any WODs with heavy barbells J
What would you tell someone considering joining?
Just do it! You don’t need to be fit before you start, and everything can be scaled to fit your skill level. Just like learning a new language or sport it takes time. Always listen to the coaches and focus on form over intensity. And even after 8 years the soreness never goes away!
What do you do for fun?
I’m an avid bike rider (mountain and fat bikes in the snow) and cross country and downhill skier!
Since Lauren joined the BluCru – she’s been “ALL-IN”. Besides being a rockstar outside of the gym, Lauren has advanced her skills by focusing on the details. GAINZ in her Handstand Walks, Handstand Push-Ups, and Pull-ups all created by being consistent and working hard. Whether it’s jumping in a specialty class, giving 110% effort, or high-fiving another athlete – Lauren’s positive presence is infectious.
