A little over two years (May 2015)
What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?
Maintaining a healthy attitude towards my body and eating habits. With a history of an eating disorder and depression this is a huge win for me.
What keeps you coming back to Bluprint Fitness?
The Community. Bryon and Janelle make this gym. Their welcoming personalities and supportive coaching style are fantastic.
What is your favorite thing to do at BP Fitness?
Compete with my friends.
What would you tell someone considering joining?
A lot of people have very specific views on CrossFit.. mostly negative. I tell my friends that this is a gym with great programming and an awesome community. We have members of all ages, shapes and sizes. Workouts are scaled to fit all of our members. AND THERE IS A GYM DOG.
What do you do for fun?
Volunteer with dogs. Hang with dogs. Play with dogs.
Johanna embodies what it means to be girl strong at BP Fitness. She has been on a roll – coming in during open gym to practice her T2B, mastering her C2B pull-ups in workouts, taking 1st place in the Rx Division of the 2017 Summer Throwdown, and earning her spot in the Committed Club! This coupled with her previous dedication to developing her bar muscle-ups and handstand push-ups is just a part of what makes her a well-rounded athlete. Johanna is a blast to have in the gym and we can’t wait to see where all her hard work takes her next.
