How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Since September 2022

What was the problem you were having before you discovered Bluprint?

Up until Bluprint, I was commuting 30-45 minutes each way to the gym every day. Because of this inconvenience, I found myself skipping workouts to not bare traffic.

Take us to the moment you realized what you were now doing was working.

Bluprint provides some of the best, balanced programing, and mobility I’ve ever done. Before, I found myself constantly sore which affected my next day’s work out and not being able to maximize my full potential. After a month, I realized that my body was functioning at much higher capacity, my energy was up, and I wasn’t sore every day (only some ).

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

Grace PR!

What is your favorite thing to do at Bluprint?

Socialize- just kidding. I love double-unders and any clean variation.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint?

Community! Between the coaches and the athletes, Bluprint has the best people around that continuously push you, check in on you, and become some of best friends.

What would you tell someone considering joining?

Crossfit in general is a scary word for most people. Bluprint provides a great baseline and training to smoothly transition into the classes. Most importantly, no matter what your level is, there is a modification for all. We all start somewhere and the beauty of Crossfit is that you can only continue to learn and improve.

What do you do for fun?

If I am not at the gym, you’ll typically find me traveling the world, eating some of Chicago’s best eats, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Coach’s Comments

Jillian has been a radiant energy in the gym since joining Bluprint in September of 2022.

She recently PR’d her Grace time by over 40 seconds, hit 119 unbroken double-unders, worked out 26 times in March. Not to mention, she has an adorable gym dog, Scarlett, and is always up for the challenge of working hard and creating healthy habits!
