How long have you been part of the BluCru?

Since September 2020

What was the problem you were having before you discovered Bluprint?

Getting into a routine that was actually motivated to not break. I used to dread having to workout after work to just “get it in”. With Bluprint I have FOMO if I miss a workout and genuinely look forward to getting to the gym and seeing everyone. It’s the most welcoming feeling I’ve ever had at the gym and I love that first step up in the door every day I’m there.

Take us to the moment you realized what you were now doing was working.

It happened a few times but just that feeling when work is stressing you out and you say, screw the gym I’m going home to drink wine and then just feeling horrible about myself. The points in my life where I’ve looked the best have always been when I’m most consistent at the gym. Eating is important too but when I’m consistent at the gym I’m more motivated to eat better too. And I thought last summer when I was sick of COVID at home workouts that I was just going to have to succumb to it, then I found Bluprint and started right after Labor Day in 2020.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Bluprint?

My first MURPH – so far….

What is your favorite thing to do at Bluprint?

Favorite workout is Partner WODS on Saturdays. Favorite movement is the deadlift, favorite machine is the rower, actual favorite thing to do though….talk trash.

What keeps you coming back to Bluprint?


What would you tell someone considering joining?

You won’t believe it until you experience it yourself. The place has had an ability to transform the way I think about the gym and working out more than anything has in in my life over the past decade. Give it a shot and you won’t be sorry.

What do you do for fun?

Play golf, travel for golf. Drink wine, travel to drink wine.

What’s your favorite food?

Individual food item; fresh cherries in the summertime. But other than that, a good old fashioned loaded turkey sambo with all the fixings. All day, every day!

Coach’s Comments

Congratulations to Emily for claiming December’s AOTM! She joined Bluprint in August 2020 and has been crushing goals ever since. Emily has dropped over 2.3% body fat and shed 9 pounds of fat! Her coachability and her sarcastic fun-loving attitude make her such a pleasure to be around and to have in class. Golf is her sport of choice, BUT she still makes time to be a member of the Committed Club. She shows off a mean Turkish get-up, a strong deadlift, a crispy overhead squat, and an impressive 7:49 2k Row.
